SYS 602 – Systematic Theology 2 (WCF 21 – 33), a 5 credit hour course of studies in the Masters programs of Reformation International Theological Seminary.

Course Description: 5 credit hours.

This course is designed to continue the systematic study of biblical truth as it is confessed in chapters 21 through33 of the Westminster Confession of Faith (1647 Original Edition). This includes the study of Of Religious Worship and the Sabbath Day; Of lawful Oaths and Vows; Of the Civil Magistrate; Of Marriage and Divorce; Of the Church; Of Communion of Saints; Of the Sacraments; Of Baptism; Of the Lord’s Supper; Of Church Censures; Of Synods and Councils; Of the State Men after Death, and of the Resurrection of the Dead; and Of the Last Judgment.

These lectures are by Rev. Dr. Carl Bogue (82 lectures) through the entire Westminster Confession of Faith. This particular series covers chapters 21 through 33 including the study Of Religious Worship and the Sabbath Day; Of lawful Oaths and Vows; Of the Civil Magistrate; Of Marriage and Divorce; Of the Church; Of Communion of Saints; Of the Sacraments; Of Baptism; Of the Lord’s Supper; Of Church Censures; Of Synods and Councils; Of the State Men after Death, and of the Resurrection of the Dead;and Of the Last Judgment. He uses the original Westminster Confession of 1647. Along with the lectures, we also include a very detailed outline and almost word-for-word transcript which essentially eliminates the vast majority of note-taking.

If you do not have your copy of these original Westminster Confession and Catechisms (in contrast to the various American versions), it would be wise to get this book. It is used throughout all of the Systematic Theology courses (1-4) and need only be purchased once. This book has the same description as that found in SYS 501
